Montana has been acting a little… suspicious. Normally, this time of year we’re counting negative temps like trophies, but instead we’ve been getting those “wait, is that 50 degrees?” days. The pastures are thrilled. The skiers are… processing. 😅⛷️
The alpacas? They’re fully on board. They’ve been soaking up sunshine like tiny fluffy solar panels, then returning to their serious work: hay-munching and scanning the fields for the first green shoots like they’re on a treasure hunt.
And since March is Sock Month around here, let’s talk feet! Alpacas have soft, padded feet (not hooves), which helps them move gently across the ground. If only our human feet were that pampered… but hey, that’s why alpaca socks exist.
